The political comedy did a good job wrapping up by doing a time jump at the end of the show. However, Parks and Recreation fans still want more and the actors do too. So will we be getting a revival of the show? This is the one thing that could be keeping the show from being revived.

Amy Poehler said Parks and Recreation can't come back without Mike Schur, who is on The Good Place

Parks and Recreation was obviously great because of its cast. But also because of its creator, Mike Schur, who has since moved on to The Good Place. When Amy Poehler was asked whether she would do a reunion she mentioned the show couldn't go on without him.

"Our king is busy doing his highly successful show,The Good Place," Poehler told Variety. "We really can't jump without Mike. So when Mike is good and ready, I'm sure we'll show up like good soldiers."

The Good Place is a great show, but it looks like it will never be on television at the same time asParks and Recreation revival because of this. That might be for the best.

Amy Poehler wasn't the only one who said that Schur would have to be involved in the reunion. "If that were ever to occur, it would be thanks to brains much larger than mine," Nick Offerman said. "Brains that I trust with my life. And so, if Mike Schur and Amy Poehler want to bring the show back and they think it's a good idea, I will certainly sign on. I will eat more meat at their behest." There are more cast members who said they would return.

Chris Pratt, Aubrey Plaza and more said they would return if it was possible

Many of the cast members have moved on from the show, but they all still seem to be down for a reunion if it was somehow able to work out. Jim O'Heir said he'd return as Jerry Gergich. Chris Pratt said the show ended with a lot of closure but he'd still return.

"I definitely wouldn't rule out seeing it again, seeing us get back together for something, for a movie, or for another season down the line, a possible spinoff, or whatever," he said in the Morning Radio Show. The actor's on-screen spouse, Aubrey Plaza also said she would give the show a second shot. But she did first say she'd like for some time to pass.

"I would say, 'Didn't we just end that a couple of years ago?" she said according to Entertainment Tonight. "Let's just wait till we're all a little bit older?" She then added, "I don't' know, never mind. I'll do it, I'll do it, let's do it."

Well, Plaza is probably going to get what she wants given Mike Schur is currently busy. So there is still a possibility that the sitcom could come back, but Mike Schur has to once again be available.
